Signing Up
Registering for the patient portal is a straightforward process that begins with filling out a brief form online. To begin, visit our Self Enrollment page at uabmedicine.org/me and follow the provided instructions.
Registration Step-by-Step
- Watch your email inbox for the invitation. Create your myUABMedicine account within 90 days of receiving the invitation; otherwise, you will need to request a new invitation. If you decide not to proceed with creating an account, you can simply delete the email.
- In the email invitation, click on the provided link to access quick steps on getting started.
- Verify your information by confirming your date of birth and answering a security question.
- Create a unique username and password on the Sign-Up page. Accept the Terms of Use and select "Create Account."
- Your data will then be available in the portal, allowing you to engage with your UAB providers.
- To log in to the myUABMedicine Patient Portal in the future, visit uabmedicine.org/me and click on the login button.
